Really?! Mom Insists Son Accused of 'White Power' Graffiti Isn't Racist Because 'His Girlfriend Is Black'

Taylor Ferrell, 18, was arrested on December 30th after he vandalized a little league ballpark with two other men.

When police arrived at the scene, they were shocked. The urinals and sinks were smashed to pieces. Genitalia and swastikas were painted on the walls, along with racist messages against the Black Lives Matter movement and immigrants. One wall was spray painted with "White Power," which obviously sparked outrage.

Ferrells’ mother, Sarah Maxey, claimed her son was with two "bad influences" that night, including one man that supplied her underage son with alcohol.

“He did admit to breaking the sink and drawing pictures of genitalia,” Maxey said. “But he did not write the racist words or none of that. His girlfriend is actually black, so he’s far from being racist.”

Oh hoooooney...that is not how it works.

Maxey said although Ferrell had a rough upbringing, he's not a mean person, and she's scared for him after reading threats directed at him on social media. “One person says they should take a baseball bat to his hands and feet — that’s pretty harsh,” she said.

Sure, but isn't it also pretty harsh to completely vandalize and destroy a public space with hateful messages? And isn't it wishful thinking to assume a man that breaks random sinks, spray paints genitalia on public walls, and hangs out with racist assholes isn't racist?

If he truly wasn't racist, he would've stepped up and said something. Or, I don't know...maybe he wouldn't of even been there in the first place.

We're just hoping the alleged "black girlfriend" dumped his ass.

The damage to the facility is estimated to cost $6,000 and police are still investigating the situation.
