If you need to refresh your memory, please check out the disturbing video here:

Now, the young victim in the video, Dajerria Becton and her legal guardian, Shashona Becton, are suing both the police department and the city of McKinney.

Although the entire thing was caught on video, city officials are still trying to keep things low-key. “The City of McKinney denies the claims alleged against it and the McKinney Police Department,” city officials said in a statement to the newspaper. SMH.

We've got one thing to say: she better get that money!

The Becton's believe the officer, Eric Casebolt violated her civil rights and used excessive force without probable cause. Now they are taking him to court and suing him for $5 million.

Becton was filled with anger and fear ever since the incident happened in 2015. Now, she plans to give it her all so justice is served.

Do you think she has a case on her hands? Weigh in!
