Bill and Linda Modry headed to the airport with a beautiful and thoughtful gift for their adopted granddaughter in their carry-on luggage but when they got to security, a cold-blooded TSA agent had other plans.
According to Fox 13 News, Amarri Hernandez and her boyfriend were waiting at St Pete-Clearwater International Airport when they witnessed the incident. “I witnessed a man being told that he was not allowed to take his package on the plane,” Amarri writes on a Facebook post. “The guy looked at the officer and said ‘Could I leave it at the airport in the lost and found. It’s a snowglobe for my adopted grandchild.’
“The officer replied ‘Put it in file 13’ and pointed at the garbage can,” Amarri writes on Facebook. “The man was hurt and threw it in the garbage.”
The man complied, throwing away the gift so Amarri’s boyfriend went to the trash retrieving the gift. He found a snow globe containing pictures of the grandparents with the child with the engraving, “We love you Katie, Nana and Papa 1/25/16.” Amarri and her boyfriend were so touched that they shared pics of the snow globe on facebook hoping to find the owners. The universe was looking out as an employee of “Things Remembered”, the store that makes the snow globe saw the post and searched through company records to find the customer so Amarri was able to give Linda the gift she thought was gone forever!

There are still kind people in the world but here’s a message to that unkind TSA agent, you’re not helping anyone by forcing old folks to throw away presents; it’s actually a proven fact that TSA does little to nothing to deter acts of terrorism, click here to watch the video that demonstrates how stupid and unnecessary this whole thing was; TSA only engages in “security theater,” giving the impression of safety but actually doing nothing.
