Black girl magic at its best!
Gabrielle 'Gabby' Goodwin is not your average 12-year-old but an entrepreneur, already on her way to make it big in life. She is the founder and CEO of GaBBY Bows and she had been working on her product since she was just 7 years of age.
As reported by BlackEnterprise, she has patented double-face, double-snap barrette also known as 'GaBBY Bows,' and has struck a deal with Target so that her product would now be sold across 74 stores in the country. Her product, the double-face, double-snap barrette, is incredible as it saves the hassles of managing barrettes which go either too tight, too loose, or go missing.
The 12-year-old writes on her website: "My mommy and I solved the age old problem of disappearing hair barrettes by inventing GaBBY Bows, the first and patented double-face, double-snap barrette. We have also created girls natural hair products to make styling easier."
Her business is booming and she is well on her way to expand it even more. According to her website, her product already receives orders from all 50 states and also from Canada and South Africa. Not only that, Gabrielle and her mother Rozalynn also run 'Mommy And Me Entrepreneurship Academy' to help other little girls and their moms to start their own business under her brand.
