Rocky Johnson, a professional wrestler and the father of Dwayne Johnson has died at the age of 75. An illustrious wrestler himself, he was a former tag team champion and is also among the elite few to be present in the WWE Hall Of Fame.
His real name was Wayde Douglas Bowles and his demise has left the wrestling world a sadder place. Appreciating his contributions to the wrestling community and expressing their loss, WWE released a statement saying: "WWE is saddened to learn that Rocky 'Soul Man' Johnson (born Wayde Douglas Bowles), a WWE Hall of Famer, former World Tag Team Champion, and father of Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, has passed away at age 75."
He began his wrestling career in 1964 and had worked his way up to become one of the legends in the wrestling community. His demise brought together thousands of his fans who took to social media in remembering him and expressing their loss.
