Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are excited with this honor.
Will Smith and Martin Lawrence developed a cult-like following for their movie franchise 'Bad Boys' and as their characters rolled in Miami P.D. uniforms, they made sure they saved the day, every single time. The latest chapter in the movie series 'Bad Boys For Life' has them taking over their much-loved roles once again as Mike Lowrey (Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Lawrence).
As the movie is set to be released in the theatres on Jan 17, 2020, the much-anticipated final chapter just got some more hype attached to it. The Miami Police Department conferred Martin Lawrence and Will Smith with honorary memberships with the key to the city and badges to go with them.
Will Smith took to Instagram to share his excitement with his fans and wrote: "Been rockin’ with Miami for over 25 years and today me and @martinlawrence got the keys to the city and were officially made honorary Miami Police officers!! Big thanx @francisxsuarez and @pitbull (happy BDay) for setting us up! #badboysforlife"
That's just super cool, isn't it?
