The act follows the heightened tensions that have gripped the middle-east.
In a remarkable display of strength amid the rising tensions between America and Iran, the U.S. Air Force launched 52 fully armed F-35A aircraft from the Hill Air Force Base in Utah. The activity was carried out by 388th and Reserve 419th Fighter Wings and is being understood as a warning to Iran about the massive military strength of the U.S.
The 419th Fighter Wing tweeted the images and the videos of the exercise saying: "Today we launched about 50 F-35s in rapid succession. Part of a long-planned combat power exercise with @388fw, we pushed the boundaries and tested our Airmen’s ability to deploy @thef35 en masse. We’re ready to fly, fight, and win. @usairforce @USAFReserve @USAF_ACC."
The 388th Fighter Wing also tweeted: "The 388th and Reserve @419fw
conducted a Combat Power Exercise with 52 aircraft @HAFB, Utah, today. The exercise, which was planned for months, demonstrated their ability to employ a large force of F-35As. We are now at full warfighting capability."

The operations clearly showed that the Air Force may be gearing up for some real-life action as the friction between the two countries is showing no signs of letting up.
